Changing job location

I am moving to a different city for a new job. Someone will be added to my lease so they will be living there instead of me. I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer the service to this person instead of me so they would be under the same contract or if I need to disconnect the service and sign a different contract with Xfinity?

user_i5e3vv Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forums. Regarding your question, it is possible to change the account in someone else's name. We refer to this as an 'Account Change Request' and an email with a link to upload documentation is sent to you and normally the person who would be taking financial responsibility of the account. We'll be happy to dive into it more and give you additional specifics. Please send a Direct Message with your full name and address. Here are instructions on how to send a DM in case you need them:

 Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
