Change room for internet

We need to change the room for our internet. The app is not giving us this option as it is saying there is nothing wrong. We don’t think there is currently a wire in the room we want to put it in. How do we set up an appointment?

Hi there @user_w0sgp6, I can certainly help you arrange a service appointment to move your internet equipment to a different room. There is a technician fee, if you would like to proceed send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.

To send a Direct Message: 

 

Ensure you are logged in

 

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon 
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it.
