Change Move/Activation Date

I scheduled to transfer my current service to a new address, however I now realize that I will need to begin service at the new address a day sooner than expected. How can I go about changing my scheduled activation date?

@rdod93 Thank you for taking a moment to create this post for our Xfinity Community Forum! Moving can be super stressful, so I will make your date change as easy as possibe for you.

You can make changes to your transfer of service right from your Xfinity My Account app. Please see this link for a step by step walkthrough of how to transfer your service with our app. https://comca.st/3Gyw9J6

And this link will allow you to transfer your service from our website: https://comca.st/38tjOsS

I can also help you change your moving date by working with you in Peer to Peer messaging. I see that you have already sent a Peer to Peer message to our team, so I will respond to you shortly. Please be reminded that sending unsolicited private messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Help & Support Forums, is a violation of Forum Guidelines https://comca.st/3LYzYIk, but we are happy to help. Looking forward to working with you soon!

@rdod93 It appears that I am unable to respond to your Peer to Peer message due to the order in which it was received.

Please send another private message with your first and last name to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  4. Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  5. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  6. Press Enter to send your message

Thanks!
