Change delivery address of setup kit

Hi!

I'd like to change the delivery address of the setup kit. I couldn't find a way to do it on my profile.

Hi there and thank you for your post! At this time, our Getting Started Kits and other shipped equipment can only be sent to the address on your account. If you are unable to be at the address on file on the date of delivery and no one can pick up the package for you, you can change the date of delivery or opt for an in-store pick-up.

@XfinityElizabethA​ Well that's... suboptimal. Wouldn't the best approach be to let me receive the kit at my current address in advance so I can just have it once I move?

Xaelias thanks for your reply. I see your point, however for tracking purposes, this is how the system is set up to process orders. We apologize for any inconvenience.

That being said, "you can change the date of delivery" I don't seem to be able to do that. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Sending the equipment you order to the address on file prevents fraud and ensures your equipment ends up in the right hands as quickly as possible. At this time, Comcast has no plans to change this tracking process.

 

To change the date of delivery, we will need to place a new order set for a date you will be there to receive it. Depending on how far along your original order is in the system, we may be able to cancel it. If it has already shipped, you can refuse delivery, or return the additional equipment if you end up with two shipments. Is there a neighbor, family member, or friend that could pick up the package for you?

 

I know moving is stressful, so I'll be happy to take a look at the order and see what we can do from here.

 

Please send a private message with your first and last name, as well as complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  4. Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

I'm sorry but this is the description of where I'm living right now... Not the future adresse of where I'm moving in potentially weeks... Especially if I want to guarantee that I get internet access as soon as possible... I can't be the first and only one to have ever wanted this stuff be sent at my current address?
