certificate issue with doh.xfinity.com

I recently have my AV Kaspersky report about SSL connection with invalid certificate detected from which the application is from Discord.

Hello, @NingL. Thanks for reaching our team on our Forums page regarding the certificate issue. Are you able to share a screenshot of the report or error message you're seeing? Also, is any other app other than discord being affected?

Gotcha, thank you. Looks like we did not automatically renew our certificate for that one. Unfortunately I cannot do that myself here as it is normally automatically done but occasionally it can be missed. We should have that renewed soon for you as these issues really last long!

I've been having the same issue with my Kaspersky Internet Security software. Keep getting messages about doh.xfinity.com. What's with that? How can I fix it?

@user_ou5atc Hello, as you can see that is something we do have to update on our end. At this time, we will have to wait for the update to get released. Appreciate your patience!

The certificate expired September 7th and it's still not corrected? I just started seeing the certificate error through Kaspersky last night.

@user_ojynu9​ i also just started getting this error.  For the past 2 days the same warning pops up for both googledrive and msedge that the xfinity doh certificate is expired and Kaspersky is blocking the connection to the insecure web resource doh.xfinity.com.

Hello - This is greatly impacting my ability to run/operate my business.  This is preventing IoT/IIoT data egress to AWS from devices.  Expired 09/07/23 and as of 11/10/23 it has not been renewed. 

Extremely irresponsible and inconsiderate of Comcast/Xfinity!
