Cell phone number with multiple accounts
I can't add my cell phone because I get a message "Mobile Number is already linked to an active account". This is true, my primary Comcast email is still a sub account of my parent's service. Now that I have my own service, a new email was created that is part of the account I pay for. I can't add my cell phone to that one because it's still in use on my original one. Now I'm having trouble adding a payment method because my "contact information isn't complete" or something along those lines. What am I supposed to do? I don't use the new account for anything but the Xfinity ebill. As far as I can tell, I can't force remove the phone from my original account, not that I would want to for security reasons. Can the accounts be merged or something saving my old username? Why can't the same phone number be used on two accounts?

Hey there, user_pp4rzn! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I am very sorry to hear about the troubles with your user access on 2 different accounts. I know it can be frustrating with having multiple accounts, and needing to maintain access. You should be able to link the 2 accounts to your one username following the steps here. This should allow you to manage the 2 different accounts under the username. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we are happy to help!
