Cant speak to a real person

We had a power outage and all power to the area and surrounding areas has been restored. Lightening struck the house and fried some things so Im concerned the problem is my house wiring but I cant speak to a real person to confirm the issue. Everyone has internet in the neighborhood but myself at this point and I need to be able to work.

This is the current message however at this time, all power has been restored in the whole county.

Due to a power outage, you may be experiencing an interruption to your Xfinity services at  DR.If you have power in your home, the network in your area may still be affected or without power. We'll have you back up and running as soon as possible. Stay safe and we appreciate your understanding.

@user_hwsnhm Thank you for this message, So although you may notice others around have services, until it has been fully resolved and update your services may be impacted. I would recommend checking our site every so often, When its resolved fully if you still arent getting service we can look into this further for you.

What does this type of outage usually entail for repairs? Curious due to the lightening strike that fried both my cable box and my internet router, thus my worry that it has to do with the lines being damaged?

@user_hwsnhm Its best that I don't speculate, If your services don't come back up once everything is marked as resolved, we can for sure look into sending out a tech and your lines.

Is there a time limit before needing to take my own action like getting a tech, like say the power has been on for over 48 hours without this being resolved?
