Can't Return Unused Equipment

I have been attempting to return unused equipment (a replacement modem I was sent unsolicited that I didn't need and cable boxes since I have unsubscribed). This has been going on well over a year. Whenever I try to get a return label, I fill out the information and get an error saying "Sorry, this isn't working right now." I've tried over multiple months and devices so it is an Xfinity error and not a computer issue. I have reached out to support with no advice. I just got off a live chat where they told me to call UPS, and I said I'm pretty sure I need a label indicating what it is and where it should go...but the agent logged off. I don't have time for a road trip to a store and just want to get rid of this stuff I don't need and keep getting charged for.

user_gmhsje Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble returning the Xfinity equipment. We have a few different ways for returning our equipment. All options are outlined in the following article.

Yes I’m very familiar with this article as it is how I got the initial information on getting a prepaid UPS label. Unfortunately that’s the link that provides the error message above. It seems that the only option to return is to go to a store which adds time and cost on my end. I would rather do the mailing option but cannot due to your website error. Can I work with someone directly to just email me a label?

user_gmhsje Thank you for the additional information on the steps you have tried to get that equipment returned. We can open a request to send you a label manually. Please send us a direct message, so we can gather your account details.

To send a "Direct Message" message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
