Cant have internet at my house because a previous person has a account on the address

I don't know if there's anything that can be done. I've tried calling, but since we both have the same last name, which is a pretty common one, they never do anything about it. ive been using tmobile home internet in the meantime but its really inconsistent.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us here @user_85ae70. I will be happy to go over any options we would have to get that address serviceable. The best option is to visit a Xfinity service center with a proof of residency with your name at the address, that way it can be verified that you are not the previous account holder. That proof can be a lease agreement or mortgage papers, you can also provide a utility bill in your name, or any other document that has you listed at that address. Once that is verified they would be able to make that address serviceable for you.
