Can't connect to hotspot via laptop

I am working in a temporary office and have been using my home xfinity account to use the public xfinity hotspot. My phone can see the hotspot though my laptop isn't. Xfinity is a known wifi network on the laptop - Lenovo Thinkpad. Appreciate additional help!

Hello @user_491504, and thank you for posting to get help with accessing our hotspots. As someone who relies on the internet as well, I know how important it is to get this resolved. Because some time has passed, I wanted to check in with you to see if you were able to get connected or not? Have to tried to forget the network connection and connecting again?

@XfinityChe​ - no, I still can't connect. I elected "forget network" and now can't see it in my Known Networks. Please advise

@user_491504 I am sorry to hear that didn't work for you. The next thing that I would try would be to restart your device since you have forgotten the network. This will allow a refresh of the network list in your system. Have you been able to connect to this Wi-Fi Hotspot before with this equipment?

@XfinityRobertA​ - others can see and use the hotspot, I cannot see it at all

@user_491504 I was hoping that restarting your system would allow you to see the hotspot. Has the laptop that you are using ever connected to any of the Xfinity Hotspots before or at the current hotspot?
