Can't change plan

I recently set up Internet for my new apartment, and was told the home phone line was included. Upon getting my first bill I saw it is an addon and something else that I don't want or need.

When I try to change my plan to remove the voice line I get an error that I need to contact support, but the only contact option is a chatbot that sends me right back to the change plan page. How am I supposed to change my plan??

Greetings @user_8fbvyb, sorry for the confusion and the runaround you've experienced trying to remove the unwanted voice line from your account. We can definitely help with this, you came to the right place!

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
