Can't activate Internet Service

Today I started living in my new apartment and I'm unable to connect to the Internet after connecting the modem. I requested that my old address have service through today and that my new address started service today. When I click on links to take me to "activate" I get an error message. Not sure what I need to do to activate my new address and get things going. I still see the wireless internet choice, but I do not know if it's here at the new place or next door at the old place. It will connect me, but without Internet. Please advise.

Hey, @user_e3b1f3! Thanks for posting on our Community Forums for assistance with your activation. Do you see your custom Wi-Fi Network name available to connect to it? Are you using the Xfinity App to activate the account or the online website? Have you checked all coaxial outlets in the apartment?

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related....................................... Thread moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_237fbe you can try to activate the modem here. (xfinity.com/activate) You will see instructions to use the Xfinity app, but you can try to use the blue hyperlink at the bottom of the page that lets you move forward with activation steps using your phone number on file.

It's important that we make sure the modem is online. Are you able to confirm the make and model of your modem, so we can take a closer look at it? If it's offline the app or website won't work.
