Cannot Make Changes to My Plan

I want to just look at the different plans Xfinity has to offer, but I receive an error saying that I cannot make changes to my plan and must contact the account owner. I don't understand why I am receiving this error after entering in my credentials. Also, I presume that I must be the account owner since I made the account.
