Cannot link Rewards free Peacock, probably due to having ad-free addon?
I have the free Peacock from the Rewards. I activated it, and tried to apply it. It says it failed because I already have a subscription. I am paying extra for the ad-free, and wonder if that is causing problems. The latest payment expires on July 2, so do I have to wait until then? Am I out of luck and will be forced to pay full price?

All I want is one program that I used to watch on NBC and I can’t even redeem my diamond rewards to be able to get Peacock. I’ve always had it as part of my already expensive package however, effective today June 26 it’s taken away from me like so many sentences , I will need to somehow access it through my diamond rewards. However, that information hasn’t been loaded on the rewards site yet representative say it’s possible as of last week Friday so once again, it’s the old bait and switch where we are promised something but $$$ gets in the way . If there is some legitimate representative out there, that can help me I greatly appreciate it.

Looks like. The T&C for the offer (which has finally showed up on my Rewards page) says:

IT IS ALREADY CANCELLED!! It was the "free for Comcast customers" with the ad-free add-on. The only option I have is to "upgrade". It is confused by the secondary add-on. When I try to use Peacock, I am limited to just a few things. It has this on the Peacock account screen.
"Not Currently Subscribed
You currently have a free sample of Peacock's shows, movies, and streaming channels via your Peacock account. Please subscribe to a paid plan to enjoy our full library.
Plus Option (Ad-Free)

Or maybe it's just totally FUBAR. After I claimed the Reward, I got email at 7pm with subject "Thanks, here is your Xfinity order confirmation", which tells me it has added PEACOCK Premium to my services at a rate of $0.00. Then at 9pm I got an email with subject "Next steps to get Peacock Premium at no extra cost" that tells me to:
But when I sign in to my account, there is no "Peacock banner" and no "Activate Now". I only ever had the "free with your service" Peacock Premium, but like you describe, when I log in to https://www.peacocktv.com/account/plans I'm told that "Your Plan" is "Not Currently Subscribed".
To top it all off, the claimed Reward listed under "My Activity" now says "We're sorry, looks like this award isn't available to you at this time". Whaaaaaa?????
Even for Comcast, this is an unbelievable eff up. This $100 BILLION company had YEARS to set this up, but they just couldn't be bothered.
ETA: The verbiage for this claimed Reward listed under "My Activity" has changed to:
IMHO the Assistant is a disaster, but at least this promo for it is an improvement over the previous nonsensical "award isn't available" message.

After a few tries, the Comcast account finally showed the link. Maybe give it a bit, and you may even need to disable ad-blockers. It's when I tried to use it I got the error about an existing account.

Still no "Peacock banner" or "Activate Now" in My Account on the web this morning. Elsewhere in the Forums I read that some were able to activate it using https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/, but opening the Assistant immediately spit out a message to the effect of "I don't know about that" before I even had a chance to ask a question. Asking about "Peacock" or "Rewards" produced nothing useful.
Reading further I saw the some had success with the Xfinity app. The activation email did not mention this and I never would have thought of it because I'd rather cut off a finger than try to use that pitiful app, especially when I'm sitting at a full size desktop. But I held my nose, opened the app, FINALLY found the link, and managed to reactivate Peacock Premium.
It's further evidence, as if we needed it, that this company is utterly, hopelessly, incompetent. UGH!
ETA: Xfinity Assistant woes

Curious where you found the link on the app. As noted, I did have the link on my account using a browser yesterday, but it's gone today.
