Cannot get internet service for OVER 1 YEAR
This is getting ridiculous. On Jan 16th 2025, I had a "regional sales manager" come to my door to sell me on an internet and mobile package. The pricing was great so I agreed. I setup an appointment to get all set up as I was assured that xfinity fiber was available in my area. Tech comes, says its not properly set up and that I would have to wait for the fiber to be run properly. No timeframe was given and he left. On Mar 12th 2025, I get a text from the same regional sales manager saying that he was still working on my install and that he would update me as soon as he knew more. That was the last I ever heard from him. Complete radio silence. Unacceptable.
Meanwhile, the cellular service has been shotty. It works fine for my phone but my wife gets absolutely no service anywhere. Months after the aforementioned issues, we called to get the cellular fixed and they sent us a physical SIM card which didn't do anything. While we were trying to get that sorted I requested another tech to come out for internet. They did and said the same thing. Fiber isn't ran and there's no timeline on when this will be fixed. All the while I keep getting mail sent to my house about the promotions that are being ran and how fiber is available to my home address. After a whole year, Feb 10th 2026, I had another tech come out. This tech was much better than the last ones. He explained everything, told me that the fiber was run correctly but not to my house specifically, and created a work order to have the fiber run. I thought everything was finally going to be fixed. I got notifications saying the work was in progress and that I would be notified when it was complete. I GOT NOTHING. Complete radio silence.
I called again to find out what was going on and to upgrade my wife's phone to see if that helps her cellular issue only to be told my account was deactivated for absolutely no reason???? I was also told AFTER I bought the phone for over $200 that I cannot get the phone because I don't have internet service from you guys. WHAT? How in the world does my purchase become on hold because you cannot figure out how to give me a service I was told should've been ready over a year ago? I request for a new tech appointment, which was supposed to be today, Mar 13th 2026, and the tech doesn't even bother showing up. No call, no notification, nothing.
I have been beyond patient with Xfinity but my patience is running thin. I've done more than my fair share of requesting your services. If you don't want my money, just tell me and I will find a competitor to take care of my family and I.
