Cannot find the buried cable to connect to home network

I recently purchased the home and I am trying to hook up Xfinity internet. It looks like the previous owner had Direct TV installed and their technician just cut all of the existing coax cables.

Hi, user_3fc84a. I appreciate you creating a post here for support. We can absolutely help you out with something like this. Congratulations on the purchase of your home by the way, how exciting! We're looking forward to helping you get everything established to where you'll have your Xfinity internet all set up and working at this address as well. I'm sure you're eager to get things going with your service. It is pretty common for other providers to cut our lines (and vice-versa) just like you've noticed when they complete their installation at any given premise. It sounds like you've already done all of the investigation required in order to come to that conclusion, so we'd be happy to help you the rest of the way through. Do you have an appointment currently set up to have us come out to do a professional installation, or were you hoping/planning on a self-installation being successful instead? We can help either way, of course, I'm just looking to confirm with you. :)

@XfinityMorgan

I would like to setup an appointment to have someone come out and connect the service to the house.

Thank you

Sure thing. Can do. Please go ahead and send us a DM with both your name and address. We'll be glad to help make that happen for you. The instructions to do so are as follows.

To send a direct message chat:
First ~ ensure you are signed in. You will then see a chat icon toward the upper right corner of your page. Click that icon or follow this link: https://comca.st/3dymapU.
From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type 'Xfinity Support'.
Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.

Thanks!
