Cannot connect to "Xfinity Mobile" WiFi hotspot

I am an Xfinity Internet customer but not an Xfinity Mobile customer. I used to be able to connect my iPhone (or iPad) automatically to the "XFINITY" WiFi hotspot, but the name of those seems to have to changed to "Xfinity Mobile." Now I cannot connect my iPhone to the "Xfinity Mobile" hotspot. I have removed the Xfinity security profile from my devices and tried to reinstall them with the Xfinity app, but still no joy.

The various Xfinith web pages (such as https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet and https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet) do not draw any distinction between the ability to connect to "xfinitywifi," "XFINITY," or "Xfinity Mobile," except that to use the latter two, I need to install a security profile (which the Xfinity app is supposed to do for me).

I want to be able to use the "Xfinity Mobile" hotspots where they are available because they are secure and the "xfinitywifi" one is not. And so far, none of the Xfinity support people with whom I've spoken can tell me why I am not able to do this.

Any suggestions?

You have to be an Xfinity Mobile subscriber in order to connect to a Xfinity Mobile Hotspot.  The other Xfinity hotspots you reference are different animals from XM.

That's not correct. In many areas "XFINITY" hotspots were renamed "Xfinity Mobile" and are available to the same customers as "xfinitywifi".

Okay well in the Seattle area it is always been consistent whereby Xfinity mobile hotspots were only available to Xfinity mobile customers. Maybe they finally got around to renaming in your area and hence you now have a problem? I suspect you are not going to get any resolution through Xfinity on this.

@BruceW you can also pose your question on the Xfinity Comcast section of Reddit. They have dedicated Xfinity Representatives who will immediately respond to your question assuming you apply the proper " flare " to your question meaning you are directing the question to tech support as opposed to the community.

Current state of play: I can connect successfully to an "Xfinity Mobile" hotspot away from home, but not to the one created by my home router.

Moreover, I can connect to "Xfinity Mobile" only if I'm using an iOS security profile downloaded manually from the Xfinity website. If I use the app to install the security profile, it doesn't work.
