Cannot Cancel Xfinity service. My new home does not have cable outlets Please someone Cancel my account
To whom it may concern,
I write these post in utter disbelief and frustration. I moved to a new house that was recently remodeled, and there's no coaxial cable coming into the house.
I decided to try satellite internet. I called Xfinity to let them know I wanted to cancel my service. They tried to get me to stay. I had to pay someone to come to my house and do the installation and pay out of my own pocket, so I decided to cancel still and told the foreign lady on the phone to please cancel my service immediately. The lady said Fine, I still had 10 days left on the month that I paid, so she said I would get a refund. A month goes by, and Xfinity has charged me double my usual rate. Even though I have not used the service since I don't have an outlet in my new home called them, and they said on their end, no one canceled anything, it's all active. I asked them again to please cancel my service. Again, a foregin speaking lady told me it was not possible, the system would not allow her to call in next month.
How is this hard to cancel a service? This is borderline criminal.
I have tried to cancel via phone, which is the only way that one can do so, and no one can help me there.
I have not used any Comcast service since 7/12/25 and just received an email that my bill is ready due September 20th
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CANCEL MY SERVICE
This is ridiculous, such a hassle to work with
Customer support is down in India who knows where where one can barely understand what the person helping is saying, and at the end of the day, they can't do anything, just say "sorry for the inconvenience, have a great day."
