Cancel/stop internet service

I would like to stop the xfinity internet service but I don't see an option to terminate it via app or website. What's the best way to terminate it?

user_rhd2wv, We are sorry to see you leave, but you should be able to go to Xfinity.com/myaccount or use the Xfinity app to cancel your account. Let me know if you still need assistance.

Yes I tried to cancel via app. But I don't see the option to stop. Only option i see is to move. 

Can you share more detailed steps for app to cancel it.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary.

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page).

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list.

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

• Press Enter to send your message.

Okay done. I followed the steps as mentioned.

Could you please help me with next steps and let me know if the service is terminated.

I just hope the system is not down and it's gets terminated ASAP.

Also I would like to add why there is not a simple button given to terminate it in the app. The process seems to be too complicated to terminate.
