Cancelling Wifi Service

Its a new service install. I changed my mind. I don't want it. Optimum is giving me $20/month 1MPBs for 3 years locked in. The xfinity install hasn't happened yet. So please help me cancel.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

privij49 thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page to reach out today. I understand that you would like to remove recently installed service. We never want to lose a valued customer, and you mentioned going to a 1Mbps speed tier, did you intend to say 100Mbps or 1Gbps? I am happy to double-check on your available offers with us at much higher speeds than what you referenced.

I meant 1GBPS. I really want to cancel. I don't have equipment either, as I just signed up for Xfinity and my install is set for 25th. Tried calling, was waiting for 30 mins befor eI gave up. There has to be a better way to just cancel. In today's day and age, its a no no to go through so much hassel to cancel.
