Cancelled work order and work was still performed

I had an open work order to run a new cable through my front yard. I called and cancelled the work order. A couple weeks later I come out of my home and see xfinity digging up my yard. They didn’t knock on my door to let me know they were in my yard working. The workers were nice and understanding. I called customer support again and they assured me the work order had been canceled. But that is what they said before. They did not say the work order was open but they were vague about explaining why workers were at my house today. How do I make sure they do not continue unauthorized work on my property? I don’t want them mounting new equipment to my home.

Good evening @user_qjpmdj, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums—we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I understand you’re concerned that work was performed on your property after the work order was canceled, and it’s completely understandable to want to ensure this does not happen again. We’d be happy to review your account and confirm the status of the work order and that it has been cancelled. To get started, please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name, along with the service address associated with the account.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

We look forward to working with you further.
