Cancelled Services but No Confirmation Email.

I just cancelled services with Xfinity today via a phone call. However, I did not receive any confirmation code or email at all. Is there a way I can be sure my account was properly cancelled?

I called back an hour later after I never received an email, and the next customer service rep had a different date for my cancellation.

I am just wanting to make sure that my services will be cancelled and on the correct date.

Thanks for meeting us here in our community, @user_opdrhj, about your cancellation. Your confirmation email can take up to 24 hours to generate. I am happy to look into this request for you. I'll just need to get your name and complete service address in a Direct Message.

To start a Direct Message: Click "Sign in" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message.

Hi @XfinityLinda  I am having the same issue - can someone please assist me?  I cancelled service yesterday (as I have switched to FiOS for the time being), was told I would get a confirmation email and would only owe a prorated $15 for this month since service was terminated yesterday, but have not received the email.

Hello @DLav89, thank you for your comment.  I can certainly understand your concern, especially after being told you would receive a confirmation email and that your final balance would be prorated. Not receiving that email can make it difficult to know whether everything was processed correctly. In many cases, when a disconnect order is submitted, it can take up to 10 days for the order to fully finalize and for the account balance to update to reflect any prorated charges. During that time, the balance you see may not yet show the final amount owed. As for the confirmation email, have you had a chance to check your Junk or Spam folder? Sometimes those automated emails can be filtered there.
