Cancellation Request Received when not Requested
I live in an apartment building and for the last two days I have received a text from Xfinity that my cancelation request is being processed and I have not requested any cancelation requests. I have done some reading and it seems that this has happened before with someone putting in the wrong address and trying to take over my service by mistake. Any assistance would be appreciated!

The concern is not "Community Center / Guidelines" related............................... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I would not be happy if I received text in regards to my cancellation, generally if a customer reaches out to us and shows proof that they're moving into that location we do try and call the number listed on file to confirm you are moving out and need to cancel your services, if we don't receive an answer on the call after the second call we will automatically process the cancellation.
Let's get this figured out because if you have not moved and you don't need to cancel your service then we need to straighten this out! Go ahead and send me a DM
