cancellation request BUT not cancelled

I keep getting cancellation request email notices BUT I haven't put in a cancellation. Why can't I see a cancellation request on my account, Why isn't this done on a customers account and Why isn't there there a two step verification to a cancellation process.

user_ntsky9 Thank you so much for reaching out for help with these disconnect notices you are receiving. Most pending orders are not able to be viewed online, but that is a great recommendation. As for two-step verification, most of the time the reason this happens is that a new customer incorrectly enters their address for new services. In most areas, having two active accounts at one location isn't an option, so it automatically sets up a disconnect request for the old account. This order is always set up well in advance and always prompts the alert you receive to provide time for you to reach out and address the request if you did not make the request. I would be happy to review your account and cancel any pending disconnect requests that may be on the account for you.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.
