Cancellation Notice triggered by new customer before I submit my request

I am moving out (renting my house), but did not submit my cancellation request to Xfinity yet.  New customer has already submitted request for new service at same address and this triggered a cancellation of my service.   I need to make sure these are coordinated so I do not lose service before my move out/cancellation date.

Also, I own my modem/router so no equipment to return.  New customer will be acquiring equipment from Xfinity.  We have overlapping dates of my move out and her formal/lease “move in date” which will be a few days before my actual move out date.

What do I need to do?
