Cancellation issue - moving abroad

Hello,

I'm reaching out to resolve an issue with my account. My name is [Edited: "Personal Information"], and the service address was [Edited: "Personal Information"]

On July 11, 2026, I called Xfinity customer service to cancel all my services (mobile line and home internet) before permanently relocating outside the United States. After a confirmation that all the services were cancelled by your agent, my mobile line was disconnected within minutes of that call, which confirms the cancellation request was received and processed on that date. However, I have since discovered that my home internet service was never actually cancelled, and I have continued to be billed for it for the past two months — approximately $150 in charges.

I am now living abroad in Spain and have not used this service since July 11. Your own usage records should confirm there has been no activity on the internet service since that date.

I'm requesting the following:

1. Confirmation that my internet service is cancelled effective July 11, 2026 (the date of my original call).
2. Removal/waiver of all charges billed after that date, since your records will show no usage of the service during that period.
3. Written confirmation of both the cancellation date and the zero balance once resolved.

I'm happy to provide any account details needed to verify my identity and process this. Please let me know what you need from me.

Thank you,

user_aqfuhc Thanks for reaching out to us here for assistance with your cancellation concern for an account that you requested closed. I can certainly help get this fixed for you, and billing corrected.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
