canceling mobile service
I actually attempted to cancel my mobile service back in October over the phone and I took for granted it happened (stupid on my part I know) but apparently the woman I spoke with didn't really understand what I wanted. It has come to my attention that I'm still being billed not only for my old phone but also for an old phone I haven't had in several years. I chose to not port my previous number, got a new carrier and a new phone, two lines. I have never had more than one line. My account was showing my old iphone 5 and my old iphone 7; they each show a number that is not mine nor have they ever been.
Yesterday I went to the local Xfinity office and told them I wanted the entire account canceled, that I do not use either of those numbers and haven't for a long time and I really feel like I'm owed a refunds for services I never used. The woman I spoke with didn't offer a refund but said she did cancel the account. However, here on my account it shows the account still active.
I'm very unhappy with this situation as I have also moved my internet service to a new service and I am at the point that I want to cancel my landline and cable services as well. Unless someone can resolve this situation to my satisfaction I will be bringing all my equipment back and cancel all my services next week. Xfinity has become too expensive for me and now that I'm retired it might be a good time to cancel everything.
Does anyone have any suggestions/advice on how to fix this?

You will not be able to resolve your account problem by dealing with xfinity. I had the same problem, and I had to close my bank account to prevent them from charging me.
