Canceling All Xfinity Services
Xfinity/Comcast makes it ridiculously difficult to cancel services. In all the posts on cancellation, advice is given by a supposed Xfinity/Comcast emplyee to click a direct message icon next to the notification bell in the Xfinity Community, and then send a direct message instruction whomever receives it to cancel service(s). However, even if Xfinity finds this to be an acceptable way of cancellation, which I do not, there is no DM icon. So the boilerplate cancellation instructions are useless.
Furthermore, not being able to easily cancel a service you not longer want or are using, which is my situation, is illegal — a form of theft. Therefore, unless I get a direct way of canceling all the Xfinity/Comcast service I originally signed up for, I will not only get my lawyer involved, but also my credit card company and the attorney general of my state, whom I personally know.

Good morning and happy Sunday! Our intention is not to make it difficult for any of our customers to cancel services. As sad as we are to hear you are leaving our Xfinity family we are able to assist you with this request. To get started please send us a DM to Xfinity support with your full name and address to get started.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
