Canceled my Service and did not receive confirmation email in 24 hours like the Rep said
I have canceled my service and was told that it has been completed and I would receive notice in 24 hours with billing and confirmation of cancelation. I have not received either and it has been over 24 hours.

I'd be happy to check on your request, and see why you didn't receive an email. To begin, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Had to call again the 1800 number for comcast to confirm cancelation. This forum was of 0 help just like the app and everything else. All this forum succeeding in doing was my phone getting dozens of calls from xfinity on why I am canceling my service. I was just moving and canceling because I already have internet. This interaction of canceling has made sure I will never use comcast again. Great internet but horrible customer service in every place. App is horrible for anything makes you sign in to the website every time you do anything. Make an account for this and they just stop replying. Call and they tell you you'll receive emails that never come. It's amazing how every aspect of support could be this hard to deal with. Never again will I use comcast for anything. Thank you for your "help" kassie.
