Canceled appointment after waiting 3 days for connection

Hello, I recently moved requesting my service to move with me. When I moved in I opted to connectvthe service myself because I didn't want to oay for the $100 tech fee. When I connected my modem there was an immediate issue with the cable lines so I called in and an appointment was scheduled for Sunday 8/4/24 between 12pm and 2pm. I received an email confirmation and also a text the day before the tech was to come out. The day of around 2:30 no one showed so I called agin to see where the tech was. This is where I was notified that my appointment was canceled. This is a big problem because I work from home which I made your staff aware of when scheduling. They scheduled a new appointment for me on 8/6, making me miss out on work for 2 days which of course as you know is a huge problem for me. I understand that I  will not be paying for the days I do not have service however being a loyal customer and having to miss out on 2 days of work I feel I am owed a lot more as accommodation for the lack of urgency with my issue. Please make this right

I am sorry to hear that your move with us has not gone smoothly. @user_8tk59j While we don't issue credits or compensate for lost wages, I would be happy to make sure that you have the next available appointment.

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.
