Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_byc2db your in the right place! Our social media platforms offer the option to cancel services if you are not able to talk on the phone.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

I also need to cancel all services and am tired of the circuitous system setup within xfinity that keeps marketing and tricking you into agreeing to more services with promises of reducing the bill only to have it continue to increase, the failure to adhere to agreed payment plans, taking funds outside of the agreed cycle and applying them to the wrong accounts, basically sending me into bankruptcy.  I need to cancel ALL services effective IMMEDIATELY and will not be talked into other plans or equipment again.

There is no Direct Messaging icon (pencil and paper) for new registrants.  Note, all new users have to post a new post or a response to a post, then wait for an xfinity support member to invite you to direct message them to continue or you'll be in violation of the forum policies.  After you've been invited to direct message, click on the notification bell in the upper right in order to get the direct message icon to appear next to the bell, which is no longer a pencil and paper, just a comment bubble with two lines.  It is there that you can begin your new direct message with Xfinity Support.

Yeah, they keep throwing in medical alert tags and I don't care for it. They're supposed to call me back but I haven't heard from them for a week. I'm still waiting. This is ridiculous.

Why is it so complicated to cancel your service but easy to add services? I'm not trying to cancel service because I'm not happy but because I'm moving and my roommate has cable already so I don't need my own cable at this time. Why in the world is this difficult?!? you should be able to cancel on their website. If you have the option to suspend service and put in your new address then canceling should be easy.
