cancel services without phone call

the xfinity chat bot will not allow me to cancel all services without scheduling a phone call to discuss it. I don't want to talk to anyone and would like to cancel my services on a certain date online without any calls. let me know where i can find this option on the xfinity website.

You cannot do it without talking to someone. There is no way to cleanly cancel services online. You could also go to a local Xfinity store, which may be a bit more personal and at least would be someone local and not an outsourced call center.

I appreciate the info, I'm going in person to cancel since there is no option to cleanly cancel all services online. Unless an Xfinity employee can show me otherwise.

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

Is there any way I can cleanly cancel my services through the official Xfinity website without the need to contact a representative? I'd much rather go down that route rather than DMing, calling, or walking in.

We can definitely help here. How this works is we verify your account, you provide the date you would like to have services ended and you let us know if you have a forwarding address! It's that easy! 

 

Also, if you have any equipment you can return to the Xfinity Store nearest you or visit a UPS drop off center to return your equipment. We're here to help every day between 6AM-12AM EST so feel free to message us as at any time.
