Cancel Phone
I have the home phone on my package from when I signed up three years ago. I did not need it then and don't now and would like to cancel it. It does not give me the option online to do that and says I have to call. I have called and do not have time to sit on hold while at work, not to mention when I spoke to someone a year ago about downgrading my TV package, they could not have been more condescending and not dealing with that again. I did a search and everything says to click the direct message button to message you, but I don't have that on my page. How can I get the home phone line canceled without having to call back in?

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon (top right corner)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
