Cancel my internet service
I am moving and no longer need Xfinity Internet. I tried to cancel my internet service over the phone yesterday. I was assured I would receive an email verification but I have not, more than 24 hours later. My account shows no evidence of a cancellation. Can someone provide a way to actually cancel internet service without me having to write to the FCC?

OK I now see in Upcoming charges section of my account I see a partial changes amount that matches the phone discussion yesterday, and a line that indicates Services Removed. It would be nice if the confirmation number could be listed there somewhere but it looks like cancellation is in progress.

Calling customer service back and asking for details I was able to get a 16 digit confirmation of cancellation number over the phone, but still no email to document that number.
