Cancel Internet service — cannot call or visit store

I need to cancel my Xfinity Internet service.

I cannot call and I cannot visit an Xfinity Store. I was unable to cancel online.

Please help me cancel/disconnect my Internet service through Direct Message.

I do not want a plan change, move, transfer, promotion, or renewal. Cancellation only.

On a Desktop:

Make sure you’re logged into the forums.
Click the Direct Message icon in the top-right corner of the page.
Click the New Conversation icon to start a message.

Note: If the New Conversation icon is disabled, go to Profile Settings, uncheck “Opt Out from Direct Messaging,” and click Save.


In the “To:” field, type “Xfinity Support” and select the Xfinity Support handle with the blue checkmark to send your message.

On a Mobile Device:

Make sure you’re logged into the forums.
Tap the New Conversation icon.
In the “To:” field, type “Xfinity Support” and tap the Xfinity Support handle with the blue checkmark to send your message.

I requested my service be cancelled on May 6th yet my account shows that it is still active. I am not paying past this date nor can I find where to send that direct message. This is absurd.
