How do I cancel an account for someone who has died?

@XfinityKassie,​ I tried to do this. They require that I take over the account for the length of the contract or pay an early termination fee. I cannot afford this, and Jerry (my father-in-law) had no money or assets when he passed.

user_5c5hlu That's okay if you don't want to take over the account. There are some instances that early termination fees are not applied.The account holder passing away is one of them. You should be able to finish the form online, and get to the end where you will receive an email confirmation. Can you please give that a try and let me know if it goes through for you?
