Cancel a Pending Order?

Earlier today, I was looking at internet plans, and I was waiting to upgrade my plan to place an order for 1200mbps until I knew what router I had. I wanted to make sure it would work for that internet speed. I came back to my laptop after figuring that out, and the order had been placed. Maybe my cat stepped on my laptop, maybe I did submit it and didn't realize it. I want to cancel the pending order.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, user_xfw6ny! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. Oh no, I am sorry to hear that. Did you get a confirmation email that everything had been processed? Are you seeing the different speed?

@XfinityAdrienne I received an email confirmation saying Your updated service order is confirmed. I would like to cancel that order.

user_xfw6ny Thank you for letting us know. That would indicate the order was already processed. Unless you picked a date in the future during the process most orders for new promotion offers start right away so new features can be taken advantage of. If that is the case it can not be canceled and we would have to pick a new offer with you for what you need. You can confirm the change by checking your plan description in your Xfinity account. In the account tab under Internet and mobile facts. If you send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into options for your old speed. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.
