Cancel a device payment

I accidentally made a device payment and need to cancel it. I contacted my bank and the transaction has not went through. I need Xfinity to send me an email releasing the hold on this charge because I do not want to pay that much on the device. I called right after the payment was made and they said they could not stop it. I just don’t see why can you please help me.
