Can you cancel your Xfinity internet plan ??

It doesn't look like Xfinity wants you to cancel the plan, and for that they keep transferring your calls.  I have been on call for about 3 hours now with numerous agents trying to ask how to return the stupid cable box/flex box that I received with my plan, they said it wouldn't be charged, I never used it, and I am getting charged for it now ??? why ???

also how to cancel the account ? are you insane and don't understand we don't want to talk to you folks anymore and that's why want to cancel services!!!! even for that you make us call you to and you never listen ?? what's wrong with you all ?
