Can we keep the same landline number if my mom temporarily moves to respite care (still in Xfinity service area)?

Hi:

My mother needs to temporarily go to respite care in a nearby facility and would like to keep the same landline number she currently has. She will go back to her apartment in about a month or so. Can she still keep the same phone number?

user_uzrw84 Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us for help with keeping your mom's number. I hope that the care facility is able to help your mom get back to herself. I'm sure it's going to be a bit of a transition. Are you looking to close the account for the month while she is not home? I know some facilities have the option to provide your own services while you are there, would you move the service to the facility while you mom is there?
