Can someone with Xfinity help???

I have spent almost 2 weeks now trying to resolve this issue – all I wanted was to exchange my older AX013ANM box for one with Bluetooth.

 

I chatted with someone, was told it was easy and no problem and that I could go to the store nearby to pick it up. I went to the store, they had a box for me (a closed cardboard box that I had to rip in order to open it) I opened it once I got home and there was a gateway inside – I have my own modem and gateway and don’t use Xfinity equipment for that.

 

I once again went to the store, brought the gateway with me and returned it to them, they brought me out a different TV box. I got home, went to set it up and it was the wrong one, it did NOT have DVR ability.

 

I went to the store AGAIN, brought that box with me and returned it and finally got the box I was supposed to get – the XG1v4 and set it up – the remote won’t pair with the TV. I tried the former remote that was already paired with it and that wouldn’t work either, there is something wrong with the box. The remote won’t even fully pair with the box.

 

A few days later I went into my office and turned on the TV and nothing works at all on that box, the only thing that comes up is a black screen that says “Something is not quite right. Please give us a call at 1-800-Xfinity and we’ll get this fixed for you.”  And an error code at the bottom of the screen that says XRE-00250. I called the number and all it does is route you to that stupid AI assistant which is beyond useless. So I chatted again with an agent who said it was no problem, he’d take care of it and send a replacement, so yesterday I received a box from you – guess what was in it – a gateway!!!!!

 

So now I have a gateway I don’t want or need and didn’t ask for, a XG1v4 box that only partially works, and a Xi-5P box that was never touched, but has stopped working.

 

I do not want to go to the store AGAIN, all I want is to be sent a replacement XG1v4 box that works and a replacement Xi-5P box that works and a return box to send back the current XG1v4 and Xi-5P boxes that don’t work and the gateway I never needed or wanted.

 

Can you PLEASE help me with that???  Also, along the way with all of this, I have done several reboots, resets, restarts, etc., etc., etc.
