Can someone please tell me when the drop bury will occur.

Good Afternoon,

BLUF:

Please provide an answer as to when the drop bury that was submitted on June 28, 2026 is going to occur?

  • June 20, 2026: This problem was reported to Xfinity.
  • What the problem is:   A contractor cut (on June 20, 2026) the cable line to my home and showed me the line was not listed in his 811 request.  (Electric was)
  • June 28, 2026:  The technician came out and told me he could not help me and submitted a drop bury order.
  • June 28, 2026:   Drop bury order submitted by contractor.
  • July 5, 2026:   Told drop bury was occurring today on the phone and also in an online chat (check the transcripts)
  • July 5, 2026:    The technician showed up and when told what he was supposed to do said he was only out here for a trouble call and was a contractor and that was all he could do.
  • I talked to his supervisor who provided no assistance.  He said he could see the request but no date. 

No one can tell me when the drop bury is going to occur.   

Had this happened in the middle of the neighborhood and affected more than one person  - it would have been fixed weeks ago.

But because I am the ONLY one affected - here I sit with no cable yet continue to pay for the service. 

I can't get anyone on the phone to talk to me  - all they want to do is troubleshoot inside the house.

  • Who can I contact that will actually tell me the truth?   
  • How can I get a credit that actual reflects that I have had zero internet service to my house since JUNE 20, 2026.
  • I work from home and this is unacceptable especially because I am still paying for your service!!!!!!
