can not unlink old inactive email address for peacock premium

I do not have the X1 equipment but I should have access to peacock premium per my account. How do I change that account email address without being about to go through the equipment? Thank you

@user_23c6bc Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums today. To updated our email address on your Peacock account please visit https://www.peacocktv.com/ and click on the account link in the top right corner once you are logged in. From there you can update your email address under the settings tab. Please reach out if you have any other concerns about this process.

@XfinityChristy​ This is the email address it is linked to and it still doesn't give me the option to link it to xfinity for the premium option. Please see attached screenshot.

Thank you for that screenshot! I would like to take a closer look at your account to see where the hang-up is. To get started, please send your name, service address and the email address you are trying to attach to your account to "Xfinity Support." You can do this by using the Direct Messaging icon at the top of the page.

Hello @user_e85aae. I am sad to hear you are still having issues and I would like to help. Let's get your account pulled up and take a deeper dive. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message

I am having the same problem and these directions are wrong! There is no “wrong email” in th bottom left or anywhere else on the peacock screen! 
how do you fix this???

Hello, and thank you for coming here to our forums for support with your Peacock app login. I'd love to look into what steps are needed, so you may link your new account to your Peacock account. To confirm, are you currently logged into an account that shows associated with your previous Xfinity account? Does it show the option to upgrade plan or that you're currently getting Peacock Premium for free?

I am having the same problem. I am not able to link my xfinity account with my peacock account and receive the same error message that others have shown in screenshots above about unlinking an old email, which I also have not been able to do. The email on my peacock acounnt is also the same as it is for my xfinity login.
