Hello. Our offers change all the time, and it would not be uncommon for us to reach out. However, I am also cautious in these situations. A few items to remember to protect yourself are outlined here  & here. If you feel this is a "scam", please reach out to our amazing Customer Secuirty Assurance Team to report. 

I got the same call, same dollar amount.

Has any gotten phone call supposedly from Xfinity to call an 833 number for a offer of 79.99 for same bundle you have now? Is this a scam? 

Are they asking you to pay in advance with gift cards? If so, that's a very common and very nasty scam that's shown up in the Forums a lot recently. See any of the many posts at https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/search?page=1&sortKey=RECENT&q=scam.

Whenever a phone call, text, or email too-good-to-be-true offer asks you to pay with a gift card, chances are 99.9% that it's a scam.

The scammers have a great deal of info, and the calls sound like legitimate Comcast calls. The scammers will appear to "pay" your current balance, although Comcast will finally realize that the "payment" is bogus and reverse it in a day or two.

A competent company would have posted prominent warnings about a widespread scam that has cheated many and appears to use leaked customer data, but Comcast hasn't bothered to do that.

I got the same call today. They left a message. I did not call back. 

Today message to call [Edited: "Personal Information"] Comcast to get one half off my bill. A scammer that leaves a message, not the norm. Also why do they say they are Comcast instead of Xfinity?
