Caller claiming to be from comcast wanting access to my router
got a call from a 'steve [Edited: "Personal Information"]' (with an east indian accent no less) calling from [Edited: "Personal Information"] wanting to inform me that my router has been missing some 'updates'. asked him when he said for the last several days. he kept pushing for me to go to my computer and not do anything until i was next to my router.
when i asked him for his call back number gave me a different number [Edited: "Personal Information"]. called that number and a recording came on saying that i reached a 'magic jack' subscriber who wasn't accepting inbound calls.
i don't know how he got my number and connected it to your company and why you guys arent putting measures into place to prevent these types of scam callers.
