Call from "Starbucks Cof" but claimed he was representing Comcast Business, HA!

Got a bizarre call from [Edited: "Personal Information"] "Starbucks Cof" today.  "Jacob" stated he was supposed to check in with newly formed business's for Comcast regarding the services in their areas.  Here's the info he mentioned:  Stated I had just gotten a new Business formed in my State (from Public Records & was formed 3 days ago), Stated that it appeared my Business appeared to be a Home Based business (never asked, nor answered), did a lot of non-substantive chatter/ uhming and when asked for the specific nature for his call, he stated he was trying to establish the needs for the new business could be met with the service in the area...?  I seriously hope this was just a come on and not a representative from Comcast.

First indicator "Jacob" was a random solicitor, was his caller id read "Starbucks Cof"....when asked if he was from Starbucks, he said no, the building where he was calling from used to be a Starbucks Bldg.  So "Jacob", think about it for a split second, you're trying to convince someone you represent a Major Internet/Communication Player and they can't provide you with a caller ID to support your job......Don't think so!

@user_2b026f Thank you for reaching out to the Digital Care Team. I hate to hear this has been your experience. We do have a security alert site: https://comca.st/3N2VKM8 in technology allow massive amounts of calls to be made cheaply and easily. In addition, spoofing tools make it easy for scammers to mask their identity. The FCC is working to combat scam calls with enforcement actions, a strong push for caller ID authentication, and support for call blocking tools. Another key tool is consumer education like this alert and the FCC’s One Ring scam consumer guide: https://comca.st/3NbmZEp.

FYI as a practice if the number is unfamiliar, I let the call to go to voice mail, but in this case I have a close family member working at Starbucks and was concerned that there had been an accident....thanks for the links!
