Call back system does not work

I have been trying to cancel my internet service for the last day as we are no longer at the address. The call back system does not work. When I click 1 on the iPhone key pad, it does not transfer to the agent. A chat agent left the conversation in the middle of the process. Since then, we were not able to connect to an agent via chat.

I have tried to reach someone at Xfinity for an entire week.  I use the call back feature and when they call me and ask me to press #1 to speak to an agent, it does not work and I cannot be connected!!!

I am reading that this happens quite often.   What to do??????????????????????????//
