Cablecard in Tivo stopped Working - Now no longer Paired

I have a cable card in a Tivo that stopped working Yesterday (Saturday 11-30-2024).  The cable card had been successfully working for a while and I know that the cable card was successfully paired.  The cable card now says that it is no longer paired.  I have tried the cable card self-install authorization and can see the cable card and host id in that system, but I get an error when I try to pair the card.  I spent an hour or so with support - via text (who stopped responding after about 25-30 minutes - not cool) and via phone who while nice, said that there was nothing she could do.

I am hoping to get help getting my cable card successfully repaired.  I hope I can direct message support and they can get me to someone who can help.  Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Unfortunately, this was expected.  This article from two years ago warned that this was coming and explains the situation better than I can.  https://www.lightreading.com/cable-technology/time-warp-could-cause-millions-of-old-powerkey-set-tops-to-go-on-the-blink  It includes cablecards with the same CA module.  I don't think it can be fixed.  If you get the chance to get a replacement cablecard that still works, take it quickly before they're gone.   They are rather scarce at this point and (as I understand it) most locations don't have any left.
