Cablecard Dec 1st 2025 no authorization

Seems xfinity knew this date world be a problem and stopped service and support for cablecards.

I only kept xfinity because of the Tivos I have.   Looks like youtube TV ($84/mo) and verizon home internet ($35/mo) and no phone... saving me $120 vs 290 per month,  or 2 grand a year.

I've spent over 5 hours on the phone with xfinity support.  I actually bought another cablecard after the first pune call only to be told on the second call that they couldn't support installing a new cablecard.  Then you tell me to contact support again.   Pure theater for others to see...

Good Morning, @user_cigb5n I truly do apologize for the experience you had regarding the interaction you had with our customer service team. With CableCards, since we no longer support them unfortunately our support is very limited.-Richard
