cable utility box on my front lawn appears to have been damaged can hurt a child or animal

The cable utility box on my front lawn appears to have been damaged by either landscapers or neighborhood kids and there is now a large hole in the top cover portion that a child could reach into and grab the wires. I am worried someone will reach in and get hurt and it is on my property and I don't want to be held responsible.

Comcast told me they would send someone yesterday but, unfortunately, nobody showed up or notified me.

user_i92ml3 We would love to help investigate this further. My teammate provided the steps here above on how to send us a direct message. If you can please reach out to us there, we can easily dive in to figure out a status.

Still no sign of the technician; quite disappointing.

Good morning user_i92ml3. I noticed you had sent over a direct message. Is there any way you can please hop back in there and send us your first/last name and the service address? For us to help, we need to know the account information to provide support.

I have the same issue and if touched you get electrical shock. My grass in the area never grows. I am no longer a Comcast customer, I am just reporting an issue

Hello, @Taquie let's get someone out there to take a look. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
